We are such a small motel that last-minute cancellations cause us chaos. Plus, we hate telling our regular guests we have no room. We cannot eat these empty rooms and keep room rates at our good prices! Hope you understand our situation.
Between March 15th and November 15th, for ANY holiday or Friday/Saturday reservation, it must be canceled by 6pm Weds that week (48 hrs for holiday) to avoid being charged. For the rest of the week, we need at least 24 hour notice (via phone, not email). For any day, if you cancel with less notice than required, we will charge you on a pro-rated basis. We will try our best to rebook the room first but sometimes, its too late to refill the room.
Canceling reservation after 6pm (local hotel time) Wednesday, or failing to show, will result in a charge equal to the first night’s stay to the guest’s credit card. Taxes may apply. Failing to call or show the first night of reservation will result in cancellation of the remainder of the reservation. As for our fishing guests, if you are on a charter, we will honor a 24 hour notice due to weather if your charter cancels because we do live in Erie (and all that weather). At the time of reservation, tell us what charter you are on. Thanks for your cooperation!
